Prospect Therapy is seeking a full-time Clinical Director to join our team.
This is a great opportunity to join a small, specialized group practice and to design and implement strategies on a growing scale. This will be an exciting gig for someone who loves synthesizing information and building systems while listening and responding to the needs of our team and the people we serve.
This is a full time position (32+ hours per week). Pay structure is salary + commission = approximately $70,000 per year depending on caseload, plus benefits.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
Is a fully licensed clinician (Masters or Doctoral level) in the state of California.
Has at least 5 years of experience working specifically with the LGBTQ+ communities and can demonstrate an affirming clinical stance. (It’s more than knowing the language to use!)
Works from a feminist, relational, trauma-informed, HAES, anti-racist and LGBTQ+ affirming lens and can demonstrate how these models apply to client work as well as clinical supervision.
Has at least 5 years of management experience, preferably in a mental health setting.
Has at least 3 years of clinical supervision experience and is up to date on all clinical supervision continuing education.
Has worked in a private practice/group practice and understands the differences between working in a nonprofit or agency setting and a small business setting.
Is not working at a private practice while employed with Prospect Therapy and does not seek to have their own practice. The successful candidate will want to grow with us as a team. We believe that ten people working together can do more than ten people working independently.
Is self-reflective, humble, enthusiastic, diligent, and organized. Someone who is actively “doing their own work,” either through personal therapy, coaching, ongoing consultation, accountability groups, book clubs, or other structured forms of personal and professional development.
Is invested in growing with Prospect Therapy and can commit to a minimum of 3 years of employment.
The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide clinical supervision and oversight to pre-licensed clinicians including running weekly meetings, responding to crises as needed (rarely), reviewing progress notes, taking the lead on coordinating in-house and external clinical trainings, and generally taking a genuine interest in and supporting the professional development of new clinicians.
Maintain a caseload of 12 sessions per week.
Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new clinical employees.
Work closely with practice owner to outline future goals for the company and implement strategies to reach those goals in the areas of: quality assurance and client satisfaction (feedback forms, surveys, and/or outcome measures), community workshops, speaking engagements, and events, marketing and networking, and program expansion as applicable.
