Prospect Therapy is seeking part time and/or full time associates (AMFTs or ACSWs) to join our team. We are an LGBTQ+ affirming private therapy practice that welcomes individuals and couples of all genders and orientations in Long Beach, CA.

If you are:
A registered associate (AMFT or ACSW) in the state of California with at least 750 clinical hours, preferably in an outpatient setting.
Seeking weekly supervision, per BBS requirements.
LGBTQ+ affirming and have experience working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.
Able to commit to seeing at least 15 clients per week.
Able to work at least 1 evening and/or weekend day per week.
And you are interested in:
Enriching clinical experience providing individual therapy to clients age 18+.
Facilitating or co-facilitating weekly therapy groups.
Completing appropriate documentation and progress notes.
Attending weekly supervision and monthly staff meetings.
Attending outside trainings and developing clinical skills.
Working in a group private practice environment.
Building a caseload by marketing yourself to your right-fit clients on a consistent basis. This can be in-person via running community workshops, presenting at conferences, meeting with referral sources, etc. Or online via writing blog articles, marketing in online forums, etc. (Prospect Therapy provides you referrals as well.)
Contacting clients via phone and email in a welcoming, professional and timely manner.
Setting your own schedule (with approval from supervisor), including at least one evening and/or one weekend day per week.
Maintaining a healthy work-life balance supported by competitive compensation (base rate + commission of all revenue you bring in) as a W2 employee (not an independent contractor), paid federal holidays and additional paid time off.
